Anybody out there working on a writing project?! Come write in community at our inaugural Oecologies Writing Workshop, led by Œcologies co-director Joshua Calhoun.

We’ll meet on Zoom for an hour:

  • 5 mins for hellos
  • 40 mins for writing (mics off; cameras on or off, as preferred)
  • 15 mins for visiting and talking about what we just wrote
  • If the conversation runs over the hour mark, I may need to leave, but I’ll knight one of you with hosting privileges and responsibilities

This workshop is meant to offer community, some focused writing accountability, and a chance to share what you’re working on. We suspect it might also help you connect with colleagues with whom you might later exchange drafts, share resources, organize a conference panel, etc.

Come as you are and as we are—a bit frazzled and over-scheduled—to think and chat with a group of mixed-rank medieval and early modern scholars who care deeply about the ways we record and read our ecological pasts, presents, and futures.
